Today, I was privileged to be part of a beautiful family tradition that touched me deeply.

A mother approached me with a very special request. As part of her cultural custom, she asked me to cut a small lock of her daughter’s hair, a symbolic gesture representing hopes for a bright future, success, and prosperity. Out of all the people she could have chosen, she chose me to carry out this meaningful tradition.

I felt incredibly honoured and humbled by the trust she placed in me. It was one of those moments that reminds you that the work we do and the relationships we build can leave a lasting impression in ways we may never fully realise.

For me, true leadership is not measured by titles or achievements, but by the connections we make, the lives we touch, and the example we set for others. Being invited to share in such a personal and meaningful moment was a reminder of the importance of community, trust, and human connection.

To this wonderful mother and her daughter, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special occasion. It is a memory I will cherish. I wish your daughter a future filled with happiness, success, and endless opportunities.
